GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The General Assembly of ASSITEJ is the ’political’ part of the Congress with reports on the work of the previous three years as well as decision making of the visions, directions and priorities of the organisation for next three years to come + election of Executive Committee (EC), Secretary General and President.

 

Each national centre appoints 1- 3 official delegates to represent their national ASSITEJ centre at the General Assembly.

The General Assembly is in session for 4 days, one which will be devoted to the ASSITEJ Forums- six parallel discussion forums chaired by members of the Executive Committee. The two first days of the General Assembly will take place in the old, medieval (and former) monastery S:t Getrud in Malmoe and the last two days at (19th century building) Odd Fellow Mansion in Copenhagen.

13- 14 March. Søren Valente Ovesen (Festival Selection Committee) attends performance by the Magnet Theatre, South Africa (London, UK)
16- 20 March. Michael Ramløse (Chairman) visits the Agor Drysau Festival in Aberystwyth, Wales 
19Working session (Copenhagen, DK/Malmoe, SE)
20Niclas Malmcrona (Sec. Gen.) visits the Bravo! Festival (Helsinki, Finland)
24- 26 March. Niclas Malmcrona, Peter Manscher, Sara Mortazavi and Louise Munk Kulmbach (2011 Secretariat) visit the Tweetakt Festival in Utrecht, Holland
29- 3 April. Søren Valente Ovesen (Festival Selecting Committee) visits the Haifa International Festival for Children´s Theatre
