The Executive Board of the World Congress in 2011 consists of six people. Three have been appointed by ASSITEJ Sweden and three have been appointed by ASSITEJ Denmark.The Executive Board carries the overall responsibility for the 17th ASSITEJ World Congress.

Michael Ramløse (Denmark)
Chairman
Playwright, administrative director of Theatre FAIR PLAY since 1997. Head of the Danish Theatre Centre (Teatercentrum i Danmark) 1987 – 1996. Secretary General of ASSITEJ International 1990 – 1996. Director of the International Children’s Theatre Festival CARAVANEN 2003, 2005 and 2008.

Petra Brylander (Sweden)
Vice-Chairman
Petra Brylander (born 1970) is a professional actor, educated from Teaterhögskolan in Malmoe. Petra Brylander has worked at Norrbottensteatern, Helsingborgs Stadsteater and Dramatiska Teaterkompaniet in Malmoe. At Malmoe Dramatiska Teater, she has had leading roles in i.e. Revisorn, Antigone, Bubblorna i Bäcken, Den Ârlige Lögnaren, Så tuktas en Argbigga. She has also done a lot of work for film and television and performed in i.e Carin Mannheimer’s Fru Marianne and Ronny Eriksson’s Lid i natt and Bondånger. Petra has taught at Teaterhögskolan in both Malmoe and Luleå and has worked for Malmoe City Theatre for several years.
Since 2007 Petra Brylander has been one of the two managing directors of Malmoe City Theatre.

Malin Axelsson (Sweden)
Malin Axelsson (born 1975) is a playwright, director and dramaturg. She is the Artistic Director of ung scen/öst since 2009. Graduated from the Swedish University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre in 2002.
In 2008 Malin Axelsson was selected to receive the Henning Mankell Scholarship. Member of the Board of ASSITEJ Sweden since 2007.

Marie Persson Hedenius (Sweden)
Marie Persson Hedenius is educated as dramaturg at Dramatiska Institutet, Sweden. She has worked as a dramaturg in especially institutional theatres since 1990: Folkteatern in Gothenburg, Regionteatern Blekinge/Kronoberg, Uppsala Stadsteater, Stockholms stadsteater etc.
Between 1998 and 2000 Marie Persson Hedenius was headteacher in drama at Dramatiska Institutet. She has great experience working as a pedagogue and workshop leader both in Sweden and abroad and she has worked with lots of play development projects. At present date Marie Persson Hedenius works at Uppsala Stadsteater.
Marie Persson Hedenius is President of ASSITEJ Sweden.

Henrik Ipsen (Denmark)
Henrik Ipsen (born 1966). Works as an actor and project manager at Odsherred Theatre. He was educated as an actor from the Danish national theatre school at Odense Theatre in 1993 and has had a great number of jobs for both Danish theatres and Danish/international television and films. Henrik Ipsen is President of ASSITEJ Denmark.

Peter Jankovic (Denmark)
Peter Jankovic, M.A. (born 1957). Co-founder of Copenhagen-based Teatret Lampe in 1991, and has worked there since as producer, dramaturg, musician and composer.
Board member of ASSITEJ Denmark since 2002 (Chairman 2007-09). Since 2003 manager and co-ordinator of ASSITEJ Denmark collaboration projects with the Balkans.
Free-lance translator and educator.
