GENERAL SECRETARIAT

  The General Secretariat is responsible for the implementation of the decisions of the Executive Board, runs the office and carries out the daily work in connection with the preparations for and the conducting of the congress.
The General Secretariat is run by a Secretary General and a Vice-Secretary General, appointed by the Executive Board.
     

 

 

Niclas Malmcrona  

Secretary General

Niclas Malmcrona     has worked as theatre producer with several theatre companies and projects since 1986.
He has been a Boardmember of ASSITEJ Sweden since 1990, currently as Vice-Chairperson. Niclas was a Boardmember of Bibu.se, the National Performing Arts Biennial, between 2004–2009.
Between 1999–2008 Niclas was the Secretary General of ASSITEJ International and as such organised meetings and workhops in more than 30 countries on all continents.

     
 

Peter Manscher    

Secretary General 

Peter Manscher has more than 30 years of experience working with theatre for young audiences. He has worked as producer and administrator for a number of free groups and projects. He has been a co-organiser of a number of Danish and international festivals, conferences and collaboration projects in Denmark and abroad. Since 1989 he has been affiliated to the Danish Theatre Centre with the planning of festivals and seminars etc. From 1995-96 Peter Manscher     worked for Nordscen (official co-operation in the Nordic region). Since 1990 he has been involved with the international work of ASSITEJ – both as staff at the General Secretariat, member of the board, Counsellor for the Executive Committee and as Head of the ASSITEJ Denmark Office.

Peter Manscher     now works full-time for the 2011 Congress.

     
 
  Claes Forsell Andersson
Producer
Claes Forsell Andersson has during the latest years worked as a producer, most recently at the Helsingborg City Theatre. He has a broad experience from working with performing arts and has been involved with dance, theatre and music. He has, among other things, been the coordinator in developing the national organization for non-institutional dance, Danscentrum and has worked at Riksteatern, the National Touring Theatre in Sweden. Claes has a degree in Media and Communication and has taken courses in Conflict Resolution at Gothenburg University.

Claes will work as a producer of the ASSITEJ Performing Arts Festival and World Congress, with his main concerns being the festival programming as well as seminars and workshops and putting them in place.
     
 

Sara Mortazavi

Marketing Manager/Webmaster

Sara Mortazavi (born 1982) works with marketing, social media, web and PR. She studied media & communication at K3- School of Arts and Communication in Malmoe. Sara also studied journalism and culture in Mexico, Spain and France. She worked at ASSITEJ Sweden as a webmaster & administrator, bibu.se with PR and Marketing and was an intern at the marketing department at Skånes Dansteater.

Sara is the Marketing Manager of the 2011 Congress and is responsible for the strategic communication and PR.


     
   

Torben Stig Hansen
Marketing Assistant

Torben Stig Hansen is Master of Modern Culture and Cultural Communication from University of Copenhagen.

Since 2009 Torben has been working as a webmaster and with public relations at Teatercentrum Denmark, where he still works part time.

 

Torben is the Marketing Assistant of the 2011 ASSITEJ Congress and is responsible for PR and communication at the Danish side of Oresund.

     
 

Louise Munk Kulmbach

Festival Assistant

Louise Munk Kulmbach (born 1981). Graduated from the University College Håndarbejdets Fremme in 2008 with a B.A. in Textile Handicraft and Education, specialized in clothing design, textile printing and cultural communication.


Louise is the Festival Assistant, assisting the Producer in the work with the festival performances

     
 

Ewa Colliander

Seminar & Workshop Assistant

Ewa Colliander has worked with many different technical tasks at various Swedish theatres including the job as stage manager at Gothenburg City Theatre. She is also a qualified teacher with a BA in History and Swedish.

 

Ewa is the Seminar & Workshop Assistant, assisting the Producer in the work with seminars and workshops.

     
 

Henriette Holm Sandbye

Editor of the Festival Catalogue

Henriette Holm Sandbye, M.A. (born 1970). Henriette has worked as theatre producer and with public and international relations for several Copenhagen-based theatres during the last ten years i.e Hotel Pro Forma, Betty Nansen and Meridiano.

She has been involved with the work of ASSITEJ Denmark since 2003; member of the Board from 2003-2005. 

 

Henriette is Head of the ASSITEJ Denmark Office and Editor of the Festival Catalogue.

 

     
 

Mélanie Marchand

Intern

Mélanie Marchand (born 1980) has since 2001 worked as coordinator and producer assistant with different French theatre companies such as Theatre du Point Aveugle, Théâtre Demodesastr and Théâtre Vingt-Sept. She has also worked as manager assistant in the Badaboum Théâtre in Marseille.


She has studied performing arts in the university of Aix en Provence. Right now she is following a professional bachelor “Design and implementation of Cultural Projects” at the university of Provence.


Mélanie is doing her internship at ASSITEJ Denmark and she will follow the work of the upcoming ASSITEJ Performing Arts Festival.
