SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP PROGRAMME COMMITTEE

  The Seminar and Workshop Programme Committee is appointed by the Executive Board and is responsbile for seminars, workshops, lectures, interviews, discussions, master classes etc. at the congress.

In order to secure diversity and international input the Seminar and Workshop Programme Committee will urge the ASSITEJ Member Centres to bring up proposals and offers regarding seminars, workshops, readings etc.
     
 

Peter Jankovic (Denmark)

Chairperson

Peter Jankovic, M.A. (born 1957). Co-founder of Copenhagen-based Teatret Lampe in 1991, and has worked there since as producer, dramaturg, musician and composer.
Board member of ASSITEJ Denmark since 2002 (Chairman 2007-09). Since 2003 manager and co-ordinator of ASSITEJ Denmark collaboration projects with the Balkans.
Free-lance translator and educator.

     

 

 

Karin Helander (Sweden)
Professor of Theatre Studies and Head of the Centre for the study of Children's Culture, Stockholm University. Has published a number of books and articles on theatre for young audiences. Karin Helander also works as a children's theatre critic for the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.

     
 

Bernt Höglund (Sweden)

Bernt Höglund is a Director and TheatreMaker. Since 1972 he has created about 35 productions at different theatre- and opera houses in Sweden and in the Nordic countries.
He has been a facilitator of Children’s theatre workshops in the Baltic countries, Africa and Asia.
At present Bernt Höglund is co-operating with a Japanese theatre company in order to make a ”Japanese performance with Swedish taste.”
Member of the Board of ASSITEJ Sweden.

     
 

Jonna Beha Oulund (Denmark)
Jonna Beha Oulund has worked with professional theatre since 1977.

1987-1996: Consulting Manager within the Nordic Committee for Theatre and Dance in the Nordic countries (The Nordic Council of Ministries) arranging workshops, seminars, symposiums for all theatre professions. 1996-2003: Head Master of Odsherred Theatre School (Danish Development Centre for Performing Arts). From 2004 freelance Project Manager of the ‘Green House’ - project for developing talent for playwriting. Chairman of the Committee of Reimbursement, Danish Ministry of Culture (2005-2009).

Member of the Board of ASSITEJ Denmark.

     
 

Sara Topsøe-Jensen (Denmark)

Educated as Stage Artist and Performer at the Nordic Theatre School, Aarhus, Denmark from 1995-98.
Toured Europe with Columbian director Enrique Vargas and his company Teatro de los Sentidos, working as performer and installation artist in the sensorial installation labyrinth “Oraculos” from 1997-99.
Founded Carte Blanche in 1999, working as artistic director, director, set designer and performer.
In 2000 Sara Topsøe-Jensen received Horsens Children’s Theatre Festival Award for showing new ways of performing for children.
In 2008 she was nominated for the 2008 ASSITEJ Award for Artistic Excellence at the 16th World Congress of ASSITEJ.
Sara Topsøe-Jensen has been member of the Committee of Reimbursement, Danish Ministry of Culture (2005-2009).
